About the Team

The Product team oversees the product strategy and implementation of software applications. It provides tooling for users, Orb Operators and internal operations alike. The team must work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build innovative products for a global user base that also provide substantial local utility.

About the Opportunity

As our Product Operations Specialist, LATAM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our local product,enhancing its alignment with regional needs, and ensuring the region and product teams have clear shared objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating with business and product partners to inform and refine the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects the priorities and strategic focus of Latam markets. You will monitor the progress of product developments, keeping the Latam team well-informed and aligned with global timelines. Additionally, you will support the testing and rollout of local products and assist the team in advancing product-related partnerships. The role demands a creative and strategic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.

In this role you will:

  • Develop Robust Understanding of Our Users: Visit field operations, conduct interviews with local team members and organize user touchpoints to develop a robust understanding of how our products are perceived by our users. Use this to help inform our roadmap and iterate existing products to suit user needs
  • Drive Functionality Testing: Coordinate and execute tests for new flows and product releases in Latam to ensure minimum requirements are met before releasing it to all of our users. Implement in-app flows and campaigns required by local markets.
  • Link Product to Local Teams: Be the bridge between local teams and product, helping gather product suggestions and ensure teams are informed of upcoming initiatives.
  • Conduct Experiments and Campaigns: Coordinate and execute tests for new flows, push communications and product releases.
  • Drive Product Localization: Ensure that the products suit local needs and use-cases by driving feedback to centralized product teams and helping steer language and functionality localization efforts.
  • Support Integrations: Support the Business Development team and Market Managers in ensuring that conversations with external stakeholders in relation to product-related partnerships progress as expected and that we have internal alignment to bring these integrations to life.

About You

  • You have 3+ years of relevant experience. You have succeeded in high-performance operations, product, and/or business development before.
  • You’re scrappy. You enjoy working as part of a fast-moving, dynamic team and are willing to contribute wherever needed to make an impact.
  • You have strong cross-cultural competency. You are able to communicate and do business across different cultures and countries and have experience working in cross-cultural environments.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills. You are able to manage and nurture high-performing relationships both with internal stakeholders and external partners. You know that no two people are the same and are able to mediate and resolve conflicts.
  • You’re innovative. You love coming up with solutions to unconventional problems and taking action.
  • You’re analytical. You make data-driven decisions and are eager to contribute to larger strategy conversations.
  • You’re based in Buenos Aires or Mexico City, and are ready to travel. You are able to spend up to 50% of your time on the road to drive growth in your region.
