About the Team:
The Market Operations team oversees the launch strategy and deployment of World across all markets. This team deploys and manages all orbs worldwide and serves as the primary point of contact for local Operators. This team is responsible for effectively onboarding active users to World. Overall, the Growth & Operations team is on the frontlines of Tools for Humanity’s ambitious mission of helping to build a globally-inclusive identity and financial network.
The Market Operations team consists of three subteams 1) Expansion 2) Growth Operations and 3) Central Operations. The Expansion team is responsible for the market assessment, setup, and initial go-to-market. The Growth Operations team is responsible for ongoing management, partnerships, business development, and marketing within the region. The Central Operations team enables operational excellence by ensuring alignment across all markets and providing Support and global Operator communications.
About the Opportunity:
As our Growth & Operations Manager, Germany, you’ll play a crucial role of managing day to day operations by proactively spotting and addressing on-the-ground issues across the markets. The day-to-day role includes collaboration with Market Operations and Logistics teams, as well as World partners and Operators in Europe. In the role, you will close the feedback loop by spotting and sharing best practices to enable further growth. The role requires excellent coordination and organisational skills, and great attentiveness to detail.
Key responsibilities

Build the operational infrastructure for hypergrowth
Build and refine the systems essential for our rapid expansion
Source and recruit top-tier Operators
Ensure compliance for newly onboarded Operators
Manage and support our Operators for optimal performance
Review and approve potential locations and events for World participation
Oversee the sourcing of spaces for dynamic brand activations
Lead internal processes to manage locations effectively with Operators
Maintain timely and professional communication with Operators
Prepare and distribute relevant documentation to Operators

Optimize performance and ensure high quality processes
Distribute training materials, conduct face-to-face training sessions, and monitor outcomes
Identify and address knowledge gaps by devising and implementing innovative strategies
Collaborate with Operators and external partners to enhance operational efficiency

Drive Growth & Business Development initiatives
Open new chapters of growth and scale operations to the next level
Explore and develop new business opportunities
Continuously investigate and implement new growth models
Lead special projects related to operations, such as community building and event planning
About You:
You have 5+ years of relevant experience. You have succeeded in high-performance operations and business development in Germany before.
You’re scrappy. You enjoy working as part of a fast-moving, dynamic team and are willing to contribute wherever needed to make an impact.
You have strong cross-cultural competency. You are able to communicate and do business across different cultures and countries and have experience working in cross-cultural environments.
You are a strong communicator. You are fluent in both English and German.
You have strong interpersonal skills. You are able to manage and nurture high-performing relationships with local World Operators in Germany. You know that no two people are the same and are able to mediate and resolve conflicts.
