Talent Acquisition & HR Program Manager, Flipside Crypto

Flipside is a commercialization engine that powers blockchain growth. We activate 110,000+ analysts to produce insights, drive narratives, and transact, building emotional connection and a strong and active community that supports token price and chain growth. We make that possible by curating best-in-class data and making that data available entirely for free. Founded in 2017, Flipside works with partners such as Solana, Near, Flow, Avalanche, SEI, Aptos, Blast, Vertex. The company is backed by leading investors including Republic Capital, True Ventures, Galaxy Digital, Collab Currency, Hashkey, M13, and more.

The Talent Acquisition and HR Program Manager will lead all recruiting initiatives and be heavily involved in People Operations and programming. This person should approach all challenges with curiosity and feel ownership for the success of the HR department. The right candidate has thrived in a fast paced startup where they brought on new tools, managed HR projects from idea to execution and lives and breathes metrics/tooling. Pace, presence and perseverance are required. This role demands a highly organized, knowledgeable recruiter with a knack for systems that scale and aptitude towards technical people projects and reporting.

Activities:

  • Own the recruitment process; design a process that delights both candidates and hiring managers while landing top tier candidates in an efficient and scalable manner.
  • Source said candidates; Manage pipelines? Yes. Source candidates from creative places? Yes. Leverage the network of Flipside employees? Yes.
  • Expertly guide candidates and hiring managers through hiccups with ease and successfully own 5-10 requisitions at all times with ease.
  • Assess, research, and implement HR based tools - manage these projects from problem to employee adoption with little oversight.
  • Own people metrics, reporting and analytics; bring the right tools onboard to make this possible. Live and breathe the numbers and project management. Completeness and accuracy in your work is critical.
  • Track and recognize trends = suggest and implement people operations improvements based on the data. Track outcomes for improvements and help us set a new standard of excellence as we grow.
  • Enjoy communicating with the employee-body; be an expert at change management, adoption and what success looks like.
  • Development and management of an effective HR scorecard, measuring the employee experience end-to-end. Reporting and analytical strength is a must.
  • Help us tell the People story; enjoy creating communication plans, keeping leadership up to date and generally building in public. Enjoy HR Reporting / Dashboard Creation.
  • Take on special projects + grow your career: always wanted to learn state regulations and registration process? Can’t wait to get your hands dirty with FSA v. HSA? Dying to learn L&D, performance management or OD? This is probably the start up for you!

It’s a big role, so here’s a little on what you don’t need to be an expert on:

  • Payroll
  • Employee relations
  • Employment law
  • Compensation / Equity philosophies
  • Employee engagement strategies
  • Onboarding/Offboarding
  • Organizational design
  • Performance management

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience preferably with several years of technical recruiting experience; some of the 7 years must be in-house recruiting. Be savvy and creative!
  • Have a white-glove approach to all things candidate, hiring manager, employee focused.
  • Proven data modeling/forecasting skills with 3+ years of metric/kpi setting experience
  • 5+ years implementing new software and owning change management; start up experience strongly recommended!
  • Ridiculous written skills; live and breathe the numbers, articulating the story and project management.
  • Expert level organizational skills and ability to implement change and speak to the organization with ease.
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving and reliable decision making. Strong desire to win, ownership mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Self-starter: assertive, resilient, independent, and capable.

Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Flipside, we are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway!
