Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join our Finance team as a Treasury & Accounting Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant Accounting Qualifications, who is eager to build a long-term career in finance and accounting.

In this role, you will support the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including bank reconciliations, payment processing, accounts payable tasks, and general financial administration. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple finance functions and develop a strong foundation in fintech operations.

What will you be doing?

  • Perform daily and monthly bank and Payment Service Provider (PSP) reconciliations with guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist with processing payments and ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Support invoice posting, vendor reconciliations, and other Accounts Payable duties.
  • Help maintain organized and accurate financial records.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Assist in preparing basic reports and management information.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to help resolve payment or reconciliation issues.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Work with external auditors and assist in the preparation and delivery of audit materials.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or Relevant Accounting Certifications (LCCI / CAT / AAT)
  • Internship experience or several months experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping roles is a plus, but not required.

Technical Skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, spreadsheets, data entry).
  • Interest in learning ERP systems and financial technology tools.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and large data sets.

Language

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving approach.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and interest in technology and automation.
