As a PMI manager , you will play a crucial role in executing our mergers and acquisitions strategy and managing the integration process of acquired companies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and alignments of business processes, systems and cultures. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the fintech landscape.

What will you be doing?

Post Merger Integration Management:

Develop and implement integration plans for acquired companies, focusing on seamless operational, technological, and cultural integration.

Coordinate with various departments (e.g., Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Operations) to ensure timely and effective integration.

Monitor progress against integration milestones and manage any issues or roadblocks.

Facilitate communication and collaboration between the acquired entity and the existing organization.

Mergers & Acquisitions:

Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities in line with the company’s strategic goals.

Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessments of potential acquisition targets.

Assist in the development of transaction structures and negotiation strategies.

Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations to senior management.

Project Management:

Establish and maintain PMI standards, methodologies, and best practices for M&A integrations.

Lead project teams, assign tasks, and manage resources to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Track and report on project performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the integration process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, or a similar role within a corporate environment. PMI experience - a must.
  • Proven experience in managing complex integration projects with a strong understanding of PMI principles.
  • Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
