The Inbound Project manager will orchestrate and lead large-scale technical and business projects that span organizational boundaries, involving cross-organizational stakeholders.

The project manager will be in charge of the delivery on time of the domain under his/her responsibility, communication, and synchronization with other domain’s managers (business, architecture, security, IT, and others), process implementation, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of project managers in related domains, and be part of the Project Management Leadership Team.
  • Responsible for long-term Portfolio planning (working with the domain’s Product managers, Business Owners, and R&D leads), based on company goals.
  • 60% of his/her time, the candidate will manage projects and 40% will be leadership activities.
  • Build an execution plan while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
  • Control all the project's activities and progress in a result-oriented manner, in a matrix environment.
  • Ensure execution of management decisions and priorities - Understands the company and its lines of business, and can translate the company vision into a project vision.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders: Development, security, IT, architecture, Product, customer support, Data Engineering, 3rd party partner/providers, and other Project Managers.
  • Define and manage integration plans.
  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings.
  • Communicate clearly and transparently projects status across the organization internally and externally. Be able to deliver bad news.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project conflicts - Manage and mitigate deviations from plans.
  • Perform project post-mortems to pinpoint improvement areas and document lessons learned.
  • Continue evolving and developing the methodology together with the rest of the team using a continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in leading a team.
  • 5+ years of proven Project Management experience in leading R&D projects (Team/group lead - an advantage).
  • Software engineering degree or equivalent - an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of English.
  • Fintech industry domain experience - an advantage.
