We are constantly growing and are excited to share that we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team!

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be a vital member of our team, responsible for converting data into actionable insights. Your expertise will enable us to gain a deeper understanding of our clients and the activity on our platform. You will excel at extracting and analyzing data from various systems in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone passionate about data analysis, curious to understand what’s beneath the data, and someone who will take the initiative to drive change and results. You must possess a deep knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, have a knack for problem-solving, be tenacious when faced with challenges and be able to communicate effectively.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators, providing in-depth analysis of the key drivers of revenue and client acquisition.
  • Working within the marketing team to identify trends, and untapped opportunities for growth, and provide analysis of marketing campaigns.
  • Working with the global PR team and agencies to create data stories for media stories.
  • Working with the UK account management team to provide a deeper understanding of clients for them to achieve their KPIs.
  • Creating weekly, monthly and quarterly business reports with detailed reporting, commentary and insights.
  • Collaborate with the central data team to improve and expand on existing data visualization.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, working with marketing teams.
  • Degree in a technical or analytical based subject (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering)
  • Very comfortable working with BI tools (ideally Tableau but not essential) and have a strong understanding of SQL.
  • Predictive modelling (R or Python) is a bonus.
  • Ability to come up with solutions to complex problems
  • An analytical mind, the ability to interpret data, and develop hypotheses to solve marketing challenges
  • Experience in writing reports and presentations to explain the findings
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and the ability to understand the impact of numbers across all areas of the business.
  • Show great skills in stakeholder and project management, being able to handle multiple requests and prioritize tasks.
  • Be proactive, diligent and interested in the subject matter; you won’t be the sort of person who is waiting to be asked for something - you will be inquisitive and proactive.
  • Background in finance, investing, fintech or a general interest in global markets is desirable but essential.
