About Space and Time Labs, Inc.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Python development, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with OpenAI APIs, prompt engineering, and the latest advancements in language models such as GPT-4.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, such as the complexity and responsibility of the role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

Responsibilities:

• Python Development:

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python within Python Flask apps.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and scalable applications.

• OpenAI API Integration:

  • Utilize OpenAI APIs to build cutting-edge applications and services.

  • Stay updated on the latest features and enhancements in OpenAI technology and integrate them into existing projects.

• Prompt Engineering:

  • Design and implement effective prompts for interacting with language models, optimizing for both accuracy and efficiency.

  • Experiment with different prompt strategies to achieve desired outcomes in various use cases.

• GPT-4 Integration:

  • Stay at the forefront of advancements in GPT-4 and related technologies.

  • Integrate GPT-4 into existing systems and develop new applications that leverage the capabilities of this state-of-the-art language model.

• Code Review and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and compliance with coding standards.

  • Implement and maintain effective testing strategies to guarantee the reliability of software solutions.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall success of the team.

  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.

• Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software architecture, code, and APIs.

  • Provide training and documentation for other team members as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Python development.

• Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs, prompt engineering techniques, and GPT-4.

• Strong understanding of natural language processing and machine learning concepts.

• Excellent with building Python Flask apps.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.

• A commitment to staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in artificial intelligence and software engineering.

Nice to Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Passion for Web3 technology.
