🙌 Your Mission

You mission is to immerse yourself with NALA’s customer and strategically build the NALA App roadmap that leads us to a differentiated experience vs our competitors. Over $80bn is remitted to Africa a year and there are a lot of competitors who charge a lot for an expensive and poor service. This is an opportunity to make a difference to Build Payments for the Next Billion. As the NALA App Product Manager, you will work closely with the NALA App team, including 2 Backend Engineers, 1 QA, 3 Frontend Engineers and a Product Designer (that we are actively hiring for). This role will drive the product direction for the NALA’s core product and we want you to bring your expeirence in Fintech, Payments and sense of urgency and execution to the this role.

🎯 Your Responsibilities in this Role

  • Bring a sense of urgency to your work and inspire the team to unite under your leadership to deliver an incredible product
  • Take ownership of the consumer product to drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates NALA and its features across primary market segments
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, research, legal and compliance teams to refine your plan and execute it effectively
  • Assess current competitor offerings to seek opportunities for differentiation
  • Develop an understanding of our users at a deep level and gauge customer needs to propose prospective solutions
  • Define initial product proposition and go-to-market strategies for new expansion markets
  • Meeting with the C-suite to discuss financial data and ways to improve business operations
