The Story

Every company is becoming a fintech. Mural is the global account layer that powers their financial stack.

As companies expand globally, holding, moving, and reconciling money becomes slow, fragmented, and fragile. At the same time, leading businesses want to turn financial operations from a cost center into a growth and revenue driver.

Our goal is to build the financial primitives that power the world’s largest global businesses and platforms.

This is infrastructure that matters. And we need someone to tell that story.

What You'll Do

You'll be our first marketing hire—which means you're not just executing a playbook, you're writing it. You'll work directly with our founders to shape how Mural shows up in the world, how we communicate our vision, and how we turn that narrative into revenue.

This role is about three things:

1. Events & Conferences

You'll lead our presence at major fintech and infrastructure conferences across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. This means designing our booth strategy, coordinating logistics, hosting side events, and making sure every conference we attend generates real pipeline. You'll also build out our own event series here in New York—intimate dinners, product demos, founder meetups—where we bring together the people building the future of global finance.

2. Content & Social Strategy

You'll own our LinkedIn strategy and broader social presence. We're seeing serious traction there, and we need someone to accelerate it—creating content that's sharp, human, and speaks directly to the CTOs, finance leads, and founders we're trying to reach. You'll work with our team to produce video content, write thought leadership pieces, and experiment with the latest AI tools to distribute content at scale while keeping it authentic. The tone is never corporate. It's direct, narrative-driven, focused on the why behind what we're building and the power of our infrastructure.

You'll also drive our media strategy—securing podcast appearances, building relationships with traditional media outlets like CNBC and NYSE, and positioning our leadership team as thought leaders in the global fintech and infrastructure space.

3. Revenue-Focused Marketing

Everything you do ties back to pipeline and revenue. You'll structure campaigns around inbound generation, track what's working, kill what's not, and constantly iterate. You'll coordinate with sales and engineering to make sure our marketing efforts are directly feeding qualified leads into the funnel. We're not optimizing for vanity metrics—we're optimizing for customers who want to build on Mural's infrastructure.

Who You Are

You're execution-obsessed. You don't just have ideas—you ship them. You're AI-native, comfortable using the latest tools to move faster and produce more without sacrificing quality. You're ridiculously organized (Notion, Linear, whatever—just don't drop the ball). You thrive in ambiguity and can context-switch between writing a LinkedIn post, coordinating a conference in São Paulo, and jamming with founders on messaging strategy.

You're great with people. You can walk into a room of 200 fintech operators and make Mural feel like the most exciting infrastructure company they've never heard of. You're equally comfortable hosting a formal panel as you are grabbing drinks with a potential customer after the event. If you speak Spanish, that's a major plus—we have deep roots in Latin America and it matters.

You understand B2B and enterprise marketing. You know that selling infrastructure to large businesses is fundamentally different from consumer or SMB marketing. You know how to communicate security, reliability, and control without being boring. You know how to make compliance sound like a competitive advantage (because it is). You've either worked in fintech, payments, developer tools, or enterprise SaaS—or you're deeply curious about how these worlds work.

You care about building something that matters. We're rebuilding the rails that underpin how money moves globally. If that excites you—if you want to work on infrastructure that governments, Fortune 500s, and the next generation of fintech companies will depend on—then this is the role.

What Success Looks Like

  • Inbound pipeline grows consistently as a direct result of your work

  • Our LinkedIn and social presence becomes a magnet for the right customers and talent

  • We're the fintech infrastructure company everyone's talking about at Money 20/20, Fintech Meetup, and everywhere else that matters

  • You've built systems and processes that scale beyond you—templates, playbooks, dashboards, a content engine that keeps running

Why Now

We're at an inflection point. We have the product, the customers, the traction, and the capital. What we need now is someone to amplify the signal—to make sure that every company that needs our infrastructure knows that Mural exists, understands what we do, and wants to build with us.

You'll be working directly with our C-Suite, sales + engineering, shaping strategy in real-time, and having an outsized impact on how this company grows. You'll have budget, autonomy, and the trust to move fast and try new things. If you execute, this role can grow into leading an entire marketing function as we scale.
