The role in a nutshell:

Be integral in leading the transformation of our finance team.

Your mission will be:

• Gain a deep understanding of finance operations, pinpointing where processes can be improved and coming up with effective solutions.
• Work with teams from different departments to create comprehensive plans and projects.
• Take the lead in guiding discussions on how to improve finance operations and systems.
• Take charge of the program's roadmap, making sure it's implemented smoothly and is a scalable solution.
• Encourage and persuade teams to embrace new processes, supporting them to succeed.
• Keep communication flowing smoothly between projects, always on the lookout for risks and opportunities to make things better.
• Lead the team in creating business requirements and mapping out future processes and controls.
• Use data-driven methods to measure and manage implementations, focusing on what brings value to the business.
• Develop smart strategies for solving problems and guiding teams through changes in new areas.

A little about you:

• Proven track record with process redesign & implementation
• A bright, logical mindset, with the ability to quickly grasp concepts and think creatively about solutions.
• Ability to assess and prioritise incoming information in order to draw inferences from that information that will inform a line of enquiry.
• The attention to detail of a hawk.
• Intermediate to advanced user level for Make integrations preferred
• Intermediate to advanced user level for Databricks preferred
• Proficiency in SQL and Javascript
• Understanding of processes, systems and flow of data.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of people across the business at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Excel in Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis acquired through related work experience.
