Regional PR Lead (Chinese-Speaking Markets)
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Regional PR Lead to own and scale our presence in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and others Chinese-speaking markets. As PR Lead for Chinese-Speaking Markets, you will own and execute the regional PR strategy, shape Limitless’ positioning, build strong media and KOL relationships, and help establish the brand as a relevant and trusted player in the market.You will
- Own (develop and execute) Limitless’ local PR strategy across Chinese-speaking markets.
- Build brand awareness and strengthen the company’s local media presence.
- Build and localise narratives, adapt global press materials for your markets, not just translate, actually localise.
- Pitch stories, respond to media enquiries, and keep our name in the right conversations. Brief journalists proactively before major events.
- Create and localise press releases, media pitches, interview briefs, talking points, and thought leadership content.
- Drive consistent media coverage aligned with business goals
- Manage relationships with journalists, editors, media partners, KOLs, and other key external stakeholders.
- Support ecosystem growth: events, partnerships, KOLs
- Work closely with global comms, marketing, and leadership
- Lead PR campaigns, product launches, announcements, partnerships, and special projects.
- Monitor coverage and flag relevant stories to the global Head of PR
- Act as a bridge between global team and local market
- Navigate reputation risks and sensitive topics
What you bring
- Native or fully fluent Mandarin (written quality that reads naturally across Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia) + strong English
- 5+ years in PR, communications, or journalism
- Hands-on experience working across Chinese-speaking markets. Deep understanding of local media and digital ecosystem
- Experience working with local communities or platforms.
- You understand the difference between how HK media works and how Singapore media works. These are not the same.
- Proven track record of delivering coverage that matters (not just volume)
- Ability to operate independently and think strategically
- Understanding of crypto, blockchain, or fintech products. You don't need to code, but you must be comfortable explaining why self-custody matters to a journalist who has never heard the term
Nice to have
- Experience in the sports media or sports marketing space in Korea
- Background in fintech, crypto, trading, or regulated industries
- Understanding of regulatory environment for digital assets and prediction/information products
- Existing KOL network in football, crypto, or general entertainment creator space
