Regional PR Lead (Chinese-Speaking Markets)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Regional PR Lead to own and scale our presence in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and others Chinese-speaking markets. As PR Lead for Chinese-Speaking Markets, you will own and execute the regional PR strategy, shape Limitless’ positioning, build strong media and KOL relationships, and help establish the brand as a relevant and trusted player in the market.

You will

  • Own (develop and execute) Limitless’ local PR strategy across Chinese-speaking markets.
  • Build brand awareness and strengthen the company’s local media presence.
  • Build and localise narratives, adapt global press materials for your markets, not just translate, actually localise.
  • Pitch stories, respond to media enquiries, and keep our name in the right conversations. Brief journalists proactively before major events.
  • Create and localise press releases, media pitches, interview briefs, talking points, and thought leadership content.
  • Drive consistent media coverage aligned with business goals
  • Manage relationships with journalists, editors, media partners, KOLs, and other key external stakeholders.
  • Support ecosystem growth: events, partnerships, KOLs
  • Work closely with global comms, marketing, and leadership
  • Lead PR campaigns, product launches, announcements, partnerships, and special projects.
  • Monitor coverage and flag relevant stories to the global Head of PR
  • Act as a bridge between global team and local market
  • Navigate reputation risks and sensitive topics

What you bring

  • Native or fully fluent Mandarin (written quality that reads naturally across Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia) + strong English
  • 5+ years in PR, communications, or journalism
  • Hands-on experience working across Chinese-speaking markets. Deep understanding of local media and digital ecosystem
  • Experience working with local communities or platforms.
  • You understand the difference between how HK media works and how Singapore media works. These are not the same.
  • Proven track record of delivering coverage that matters (not just volume)
  • Ability to operate independently and think strategically
  • Understanding of crypto, blockchain, or fintech products. You don't need to code, but you must be comfortable explaining why self-custody matters to a journalist who has never heard the term

Nice to have

  • Experience in the sports media or sports marketing space in Korea
  • Background in fintech, crypto, trading, or regulated industries
  • Understanding of regulatory environment for digital assets and prediction/information products
  • Existing KOL network in football, crypto, or general entertainment creator space

Benefits

  • Competitive option stock & salary based compensation
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Global team offsites
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Hardware (if needed)
  • Remote first. Office in Lisbon
