At Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, our Institutional Sales team is laser-focused on accelerating the global adoption of crypto among large-scale clients like hedge funds, asset managers, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. This team is at the forefront, demonstrating to major institutions how crypto can transform their business by introducing them to our comprehensive suite of offerings, including spot, futures, custody, staking, and credit.

And that’s where you come in!

Opportunity

We are on the hunt for new Institutional Sales Managers to join our team remotely in the APAC region! We are seeking highly ambitious and experienced sales professionals to spearhead Kraken’s sales initiatives for our full suite of products and solutions.

The number 1 goal of this role is to grow our client base, generating new revenue through new business and ultimately help our clients succeed. You will identify fresh business opportunities by leveraging various sales strategies, both inbound and outbound. Additionally, you will manage an existing portfolio of clients and offer tailored and innovative business solutions to drive growth for both parties.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven sales professional who wants to shape the future of crypto from a leading position at a powerhouse brand.

What you will do:

  • Support the institutional sales across APAC, drive client and volume growth for the institutional Kraken product suite

  • Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, including responding to inbound opportunities and assisting team members in doing the same

  • Build trustworthy relationships with our institutional clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Kraken can generate value for them

  • Partner up with Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Business Development teams to provide market intelligence, develop new product features and leverage competitive advantages.

  • Participate in industry events and conferences to generate leads and enhance Kraken’s institutional brand presence

  • Be a Kraken advocate in promoting our full product suite of products, services and company’s value to new and existing clients

Skills you should HODL

  • Over 5 years of expertise in trading environments and/or traditional finance sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment

  • 1+ years of experience in a crypto firm focussing on financial products with an institutional client base

  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, conduct analysis and identify innovative solutions

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations with a proven ability to navigate and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks

  • A robust personal network within the financial services sector, particularly with a focus on institutional and corporate clients

  • Fearlessness to innovate boldly, move swiftly, and take calculated risks.

  • Passion about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends

  • Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document

  • Located in the APAC region with fluency in English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus
