We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead People Partner to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for talent acquisition and development and a strong knowledge of people management and people processes. The ideal candidate will initially spend approximately 60% of their time on talent-related responsibilities and 40% on People Partnership. Due to the nature of our evolving business, we are looking for someone who can flex between these areas as is required over time.

Your Opportunity :

  • Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier candidates and lead the end-to-end recruitment process.

  • Design and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the organisation. Create and manage employee career development plans, identifying training and growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the company's employer brand and attract high-quality talent, promoting the organisation's culture and values through various channels, including social media and recruitment events.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers; providing guidance on people policies, procedures, and best practices, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

  • Support managers in performance reviews, setting goals, and providing constructive feedback. Implement performance improvement plans when necessary and track progress. Create and deliver leadership development programs that can support the business as it scales to develop future leaders from within.

  • Assist in designing and implementing organisational changes, including restructuring and workforce planning. Manage and effectively lead change initiatives to support company growth, processes, structure, and culture changes.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with the company's values and objectives. Develop and implement employee engagement programs, optimising retention and productivity in a fast-paced start-up environment.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Develop, update, and communicate people policies and procedures to employees.

Why You're Made for This:

  • CIPD L5+ qualified or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, talent development, and HR management.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and best practices and a confident understanding of and application of UK employment law.

  • Excellent interpersonal and strong written communication skills, strong ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.

  • Global people/HR experience to support future international growth plans, including experience with global people practices and cross-cultural management, would be an advantage.

  • Strong organisational and project management abilities with demonstrable ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects.

  • Excellent mediation and conflict resolution skills, well-versed in bringing innovative and creative solutions to people challenges.
