The Role

As a UX/UI Designer you will create visually compelling and user-friendly designs that align with our innovative product offerings. You will play a key role in ensuring an streamlined user experience across all platforms and interfaces. The role reports to the UX/UI Lead, and you will be working with both senior leaders and a capable team of engineers in a highly-collaborative, remote-first environment based in NZ.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across our products.
  • Work with external partners to gather user research and analytics and use this to evolve our product.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our design processes.
  • Champion user-centric design principles.
  • Utilise your product experience to guide us in making strategic decisions that lead to early, efficient results.
  • Implement designs that are clear, concise, tested, and easily understood by others.
  • Present and share ideas with confidence.

    You are first and foremost a team player 🥰 As a UX/UI Designer, you act as the voice of our users within the organization. You speak with confidence, can identify the problem we are trying to solve, and effectively communicate that with your team for each assigned project. You have a keen attention to detail and can take initiative. You are also capable of working independently and taking direction to ensure high-quality design output without constant supervision.

    2 interviews and a design task. The first is a general interview, then the task. The second interview is based on the solutions you provided in your task.
