💡 Job Description
We are seeking a talented and highly independent Product Designer with Web3 and Cyber Security experience to join our team at Hexagate. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our web applications, with a particular emphasis on Web3 and Cyber Security technologies. In addition, you will provide designs for marketing materials and assist with presentation designs. You will work closely with the Product Manager and the Front End Developer to create product UX/UI. You will also have a working interface with the CEO and growth lead to assist with sales, brand, and marketing materials that effectively communicate our value proposition.
🙆 Responsibilities
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and preferences in the context of Web3 and Cyber Security applications.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas for Web3 and Cyber Security experiences.
Design and implement user-centered interfaces for web applications, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience in the Web3 space.
Collaborate closely with product manager and developers to understand technical requirements and constraints specific to Web3 and Cyber Security technologies.
Work with the CEO and growth lead to create sales, brand, and marketing materials that align with our value proposition and target audience.
Assist with presentation designs for internal and external use, ensuring cohesive and visually engaging presentations.
Create and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and UI pattern libraries tailored to Web3 applications.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and industry best practices in the Web3 and Cyber Security space.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and ensure their application in all design work.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in both Web3, Cyber Security and traditional UX/UI design.
Take ownership of projects, work independently, and meet project deadlines.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
🐯 Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
3+ years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing Web3, Cyber Security and web application design projects. Preferably as sole UX/UI designer in a fast pace startup.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, particularly in the Web3 and Cyber Security context.
Experience with end-to-end product design that covers user research methods and usability testing, UX wireframes, UI and design that results in a successful product launch.
Strong knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first principles.
Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions.
Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
