DESCRIPTION: The Business Development Associate is an exciting entry level opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. The Business Development (BD) Associate will be a key member of the Business Development team and will be supporting the Bitcoin Mining team throughout the entire client engagement.
The BD Associate will work closely with the Directors of Business Development, supporting them in their efforts to not only maintain current Foundry clients, but to also seek opportunities to increase the value of those relationships through Foundry’s additional services. The BD Associate must possess strong analytical skills to assist the BD team in organizing and identifying potential opportunities within the current client base. In addition to analytical skills, the BD Manager must be willing to work directly with clients to help provide customer service when needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track, analyze, and report on key sales performance metrics and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain and organize Foundry’s CRM database, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
- Manage and process new incoming leads, routing them appropriately and tracking engagement.
- Compile and distribute a weekly internal report highlighting key client updates, market insights, and industry news for the Business Development team.
- Deliver exceptional client service by responding to inquiries promptly, offering knowledgeable support, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Conduct live demonstrations of Foundry products, tailoring presentations to client needs and effectively communicating product value.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify risks, opportunities, and areas to strengthen Foundry’s positioning.
- Represent Foundry at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to strengthen relationships, promote solutions, and gather market intelligence.
ABOUT YOU:
Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers.
- High energy and a strong drive to take initiative—excited by the opportunity to build from the ground up and deliver tangible results.
- Prior industry knowledge is not required, but a genuine interest in and willingness to learn about Bitcoin and the broader crypto ecosystem is essential.
Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Sales or customer service experience
- Experience using CRM software
- Proficient in Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze data effectively.
- Demonstrated cross-functional mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated capacity to see the bigger picture and understand new functional areas quickly
- Proficient in quantitative analysis and logical reasoning
- Excellent communication skills encompassing verbal, written, and listening abilities, adept in negotiation, organization, and presentation
- Able to articulate next steps clearly and follow through on commitments with integrity.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, approaching challenges with optimism and initiative.
- Reliable team player who’s willing to jump in and support wherever needed.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful in navigating ambiguity.
- Strong time management and task-tracking practices.

The salary range for this role is $60,000- $75,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This range only includes base compensation and does not include other tangible benefits such as 401K match, bonuses, overtime pay, and other benefits.
