Fordefi has recently been acquired by Paxos, a leading regulated digital asset infrastructure provider that issues stablecoins for global enterprises and powers brokerage and settlement solutions for major financial institutions and fintechs. Together with Paxos, we are scaling Fordefi's technology and accelerating our mission to provide institutions with secure and reliable access to digital assets.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Build and scale resilient, fault-tolerant systems with strong monitoring and alerting
• Lead and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to support secure and reliable cloud infrastructure deployments
• Collaborate closely with Backend teams and other stakeholders to drive secure, performant, and compliant platform operations.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• Contribute to SRE best practices, internal tooling, and team knowledge sharing.

What Are We Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) for automating cloud resource provisioning.
• Proven hands-on experience with microservices architectures, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Background in secure system design, key management systems (HSM, AWS KMS), digital signatures, or applied cryptography.
• DevSecOps experience, including security automation, vulnerability management, and compliance within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or other institutional-grade systems, including exposure to blockchain technologies and DeFi protocols.
