Our overarching objective is to forge the next generation of digital financial solutions in Francophone Africa, a region where fewer than 25% of the population currently has access to traditional banking services.

To support the launch and growth of our activities in Djamo Entities, we are looking for a Welcome Hostess (H/F).

Your role

Djamo Finance is a digital-first financial institution that aims to make banking simple, accessible, and human. We combine innovative digital products with personalized in-person support to empower individuals and businesses to thrive financially.

As an In-Person Welcome Hostess, reporting to the Head of Customer Service (subject to changes), you will be the first face of Djamo Finance for customers visiting our physical locations. You will ensure a warm, professional, and informative welcome for all visitors while supporting them with product information, onboarding, basic technical troubleshooting, and personalized service recommendations. Your role is critical in creating a seamless bridge between our digital platforms and in-person experience.

Daily, the Welcome Hostess will have to/be responsible for:

Customer Welcome & Onboarding

  • Greet all clients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Guide visitors through the check-in and queueing process.
  • Assist new clients with account setup and mobile app onboarding.

Product Presentation & Support

  • Present Djamo’s suite of digital banking products: personal banking, cards, business accounts, loans, and more.
  • Educate customers on the features and benefits of each product.
  • Provide live demonstrations of the mobile application and services.

Troubleshooting & Customer Assistance

  • Assist clients in resolving basic technical or account-related issues on the spot.
  • Answer questions regarding transactions, card usage, account functionalities, etc.
  • Escalate complex issues to Customer Success officers as needed.

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Identify client needs and recommend suitable products or services (e.g., business accounts, savings, lending).
  • Promote new features and campaigns in alignment with the marketing calendar.
  • Gather and share customer feedback to improve service delivery.

Operational Support

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area.
  • Keep client interaction logs and share daily activity summaries with the CS team.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and security protocols.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles (banking, retail, hospitality, or tech support preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of digital banking products and mobile applications.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients with professionalism and empathy.
  • Tech-savvy, quick to learn digital tools and banking platforms.
  • Fluent in French (required); Local languages (dioula, baoulé, etc.) and English proficiency are an asset.
