DCG is looking to hire a Bermuda-based Director of Trading to design, manage, and evolve DCG’s active trading and yield-enhancement strategies for cryptocurrencies and public markets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about the financial and cryptocurrency markets and will be responsible for trading spot and derivatives across cryptocurrency and public markets, borrowing/lending, staking, and implementing DeFi-oriented yield-enhancement strategies.

Key Responsibilities: • Execute, manage, and optimize trading and yield enhancement strategies for cryptocurrencies and public equities. This will include trading in the spot and derivative markets the across cryptocurrency and public market, as well as implementing borrowing/lending, staking, derivatives and DeFi-oriented trading and yield-enhancement strategies • Design portfolio management, risk management, and reporting policies, procedures, and systems • Execute trades efficiently and consistently in a timely fashion • Monitor position sizes and risk limits • Operate trading systems, monitor execution, and interact with trading partners • Identify, research, and implement new trading and yield-enhancement strategies • Communicate with other team members to inform risk management and treasury management decisions • Contribute to pre and post trade analysis to inform the improvement of current strategies • Continuously educate yourself on the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency market to help drive evolution of the trading and yield enhancement strategies
Qualifications: • Minimum 7+ years of trading experience at a leading financial institution or cryptocurrency firm • Experience pricing and structuring yield strategies involving derivatives (i.e., options, futures, forwards, swaps, etc.) • Experience in trading through exchanges, order-routing systems, and OTC desks • A Degree from top tier university • Entrepreneurial drive and a team player • Detail oriented with the drive to improve trading operations and enhance yield across the portfolio • Strong track record of advancement/attainment in both academic and professional environments • Exceptional conceptual, quantitative, and analytical abilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to describe sophisticated problems and solutions
