Corporate Development and Ventures, Manager
Circle
Circle is a financial technology company at the epicenter of the emerging internet of money, where value can finally travel like other digital data — globally, nearly instantly and less expensively than legacy settlement systems. This ground-breaking new internet layer opens up previously unimaginable possibilities for payments, commerce and markets that can help raise global economic prosperity and enhance inclusion. Our infrastructure – including USDC, a blockchain-based dollar – helps businesses, institutions and developers harness these breakthroughs and capitalize on this major turning point in the evolution of money and technology.
What you’ll be part of:
Circle is committed to visibility and stability in everything we do. As we grow as an organization, we're expanding into some of the world's strongest jurisdictions. Speed and efficiency are motivators for our success and our employees live by our company values: High Integrity, Future Forward, Multistakeholder, Mindful, and Driven by Excellence. We have built a flexible and diverse work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder.
What you’ll be responsible for:
As a Manager on the Corporate Development and Ventures (CDV) team, you will contribute by strengthening our portfolio operations, insight development, network engagement (incl., founder and VC interactions), and deal execution. You will support systems, processes, and relationships that empower Circle’s venture and partnership portfolio, ensure clean execution of our CDV workflows, and help scale how we gather insights, share intelligence, and activate our ecosystem. You will develop a broad set of internal and external relationships. While not primarily responsible for originating investments, you’ll gain exposure to deal activity and work cross-functionally to enable post-transaction integration and strategic visibility across our partner and investor relationships.
Our team aspires to:
Deliver best-in-class strategic insights and deal execution through analytical rigor, sound judgement, operational excellence, scalable systems and tools, and appropriate hustle.
Maintain and grow a powerful network of relationships with experts that bolsters Circle’s access to information, opportunity, and deal flow.
Drive insights and organizational alignment so that it’s easier for Circle leaders and teams to understand where and how to engage for impact.
Use new technologies/AI to hunt for signals in the noise — from founders, funds, internal teams, and the broader market — and translate it into action.
Raise the bar for ourselves and others, sharing feedback openly, mentoring across the team, and improving how we collaborate.
What you'll work on:
Lead our team in systemically capturing, refining, prioritizing and sharing insights derived from our relationships and activities, translating them into execution.
Manage operations of CDV portfolio and pipeline processes and systems, including but not limited to documentation, KYC processes, Affinity (CRM), and stakeholder accessibility.
Implement and continuously improve CDV systems and tools (e.g., Affinity, AI platforms) to enhance productivity and provide visibility to stakeholders, including top executives.
Assist in relationship management with portfolio founders and VC partners, including segmentation, engagement planning, and value realization.
Build direct relationships with portfolio founders, venture capitalists, and industry experts within Circle’s ecosystem to expand the organization’s network and amplify its influence.
Contribute to Circle’s deal execution and ecosystem initiatives by supporting M&A and venture activities in collaboration with senior team members.
Experiment with and help deploy emerging AI tools and workflows to optimize information capture, reporting/communications, and decision enablement.
What you’ll bring to Circle:
7+ years of experience in venture investing, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or other relevant roles.
Ability to synthesize insights from diverse inputs (from founders, funds, internal teams, etc.) and create structured, high-value, scalable reporting and communication.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to distill complex concepts into clear insights and recommendations that influence and inspire others.
Demonstrated success in operationalizing team processes and reliably managing strategic workflows leveraging CRM systems.
Experience with relationship management platforms (e.g., Affinity), AI tooling, and productivity tools such as GSuite and Slack.
Comfort navigating ambiguity with a bias toward building structured execution and always seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree required with an Economics, Finance, Business, Technology or related discipline preferred.
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree is a nice to have.
