Reimagine access. Reimagine ownership. Build the future with Cinch.
Cinch is Southeast Asia's leading circular tech subscription company, redefining how people and businesses access technology. Instead of adding to the growing e-waste crisis, we enable affordable, sustainable access to devices through subscriptions that maximize reuse and extend their lifecycle.
We operate across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C channels, including major partnerships with global leaders like Samsung. Our model sits at the intersection of powerful mega trends—sustainability, embedded finance, and the shift from ownership to access—creating a massive opportunity to reshape the future of tech consumption.
At Cinch, we are builders with high standards, a bias for action, and a shared mission to create a generational company that outlasts us. Freshly funded by leading institutional investors and growing rapidly, we're creating an environment where ambitious people can do the best work of their careers—and where the work has real, lasting impact.
About The Role
We're looking for a Partnerships Lead to build and grow Cinch Malaysia's partner ecosystem — OEMs, distributors, telcos, retailers, fintechs, and other strategic channels. This is a relationship- and deal-driven role: you'll identify the right partners, negotiate structures that work for both sides, and manage the ongoing relationship to keep partnerships performing.
You'll work closely with the General Manager, Malaysia to align partnership strategy with the country's commercial goals, and you'll be the main point of contact for partners on the ground.

What You'll Do
Partner Acquisition
- Identify and prioritise potential partners across OEMs, distributors, telcos, retailers, and fintechs
- Lead outreach, pitching, and negotiation from first conversation through signed agreement
- Structure commercial terms for partnerships in collaboration with the GM — revenue share, volume commitments, exclusivity, and other deal terms
- Balance partner needs with Cinch's margin and risk requirements
- Own the ongoing relationship with each partner — regular check-ins, performance reviews, and issue resolution
- Track partnership performance against agreed targets and drive corrective action when needed
- Identify opportunities to expand or deepen existing partnerships
- Work with partners to execute joint go-to-market activity — co-marketing, bundled offers, or channel enablement as relevant
- Coordinate with cross-functional leads to ensure partnerships are operationally ready to launch
Must-Have
- 4–7 years of experience in partnerships, channel management, or business development, with a track record of sourcing and closing partnership deals
- Experience in at least one of: fintech, telco, consumer electronics, DaaS/SaaS, device financing, or tech distribution
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills — comfortable structuring deal terms, not just maintaining relationships
- Existing network across Malaysian OEMs, telcos, distributors, retailers, or fintechs
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment building a partnerships function from scratch
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder partnerships involving legal, risk, and operational coordination
