About Cinch

Reimagine access. Reimagine ownership. Build the future with Cinch.

Cinch is Southeast Asia’s leading circular tech subscription company, redefining how people and businesses access technology. Instead of adding to the growing e-waste crisis, we enable affordable, sustainable access to devices through subscriptions that maximize reuse and extend their lifecycle. We operate across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C channels, including major partnerships with global leaders like Samsung. Our model sits at the intersection of powerful mega trends — sustainability, embedded finance, and the shift from ownership to access — creating a massive opportunity to reshape the future of tech consumption. At Cinch, we are builders with high standards, a bias for action, and a shared mission to create a generational company that outlasts us. Freshly funded by leading institutional investors and growing rapidly, we’re creating an environment where ambitious people can do the best work of their careers — and where the work has real, lasting impact.

The Role

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and business development — supporting Cinch's CEO directly on corporate development priorities. You'll work on initiatives that directly shape Cinch's next chapter, strategic partnerships at the corporate level, and market and competitive intelligence. This is a rare opportunity to see how a high-growth company thinks about its future from the inside.

What You’ll Do

  • Support preparation for fundraising, including investor materials, financial narratives, and due diligence readiness
  • Conduct market sizing, competitive landscaping, and sector analysis across Cinch's core and adjacent verticals
  • Research and evaluate potential strategic partnership opportunities (corporate, institutional, and ecosystem-level)
  • Assist in structuring and presenting strategic initiatives for board and investor audiences
  • Support M&A or investment exploration where relevant — from initial screening to preliminary analysis
  • Work directly with the CEO on ad hoc strategic priorities as they arise

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's programme (MIM, MBA, or equivalent)
  • Strong financial and analytical skills — comfortable with financial modelling, market sizing, and structured problem-solving
  • Exceptional written communication; able to distil complex ideas into crisp, executive-ready outputs
  • High degree of initiative and intellectual curiosity; thrives with ownership and minimal hand-holding
  • Background or strong interest in venture/growth-stage companies, investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity
  • Exposure to Southeast Asian markets or tech/fintech sectors is a plus

You’ll Thrive Here If You

  • Are intellectually restless and like working on problems that don't have a clean answer yet
  • Can hold a lot of context and connect dots across strategy, finance, and operations
  • Write clearly and concisely — you know that a good one-pager beats a 40-slide deck
  • Are comfortable being in the room where decisions are made and contributing meaningfully
  • Want to understand how a founder thinks, not just how a corporation operates

What You’ll Gain

  • Unmatched access to a founder-CEO navigating fundraising, expansion, and strategic partnerships simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience in investor narratives, financial storytelling, and due diligence material
  • Exposure to M&A and strategic partnership evaluation at the corporate level
  • Real outputs: investor decks, market analyses, and strategic frameworks you can speak to in future interviews
  • A front-row seat to building a high-growth company at one of the most consequential stages of its journey
