As we expand our regional presence and gear up for the next phase of growth, we’re looking for a Strategy & Business Development Associate based in Malaysia. This role blends strategic storytelling with commercial hustle: you’ll follow up with partners and leads on the ground, support B2C activations and weekend initiatives, and still bring the polish and professionalism to produce high-quality presentations that move the needle with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft & Design Strategic Presentations

  • Develop compelling, visually polished presentations for partner pitches, corporate proposals, and investor-ready decks.
  • Translate complex ideas and value propositions into simple, persuasive narratives.
  • Work in Figma, PowerPoint, and Google Slides to deliver brand-aligned materials at a high standard.
  • Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives.
  • Utilize AI to ensure both quality and speed of turnaround when developing presentations.

Drive B2B Business Development & Partnerships in Malaysia

  • Act as a key point of contact for partners, prospects, and leads in Malaysia, ensuring timely follow-ups and relationship building.
  • Support the commercial team in identifying, nurturing, and closing high-potential opportunities.
  • Represent Cinch in external meetings, networking events, and partnership discussions.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining strong relationships with local stakeholders, including gyms, corporates, and ecosystem partners.

Support B2C Activations & Initiatives

  • Assist in planning and executing B2C activations, including weekend initiatives, fitness events, and on-the-ground campaigns.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure smooth execution of consumer-facing programs.
  • Gather feedback and insights from activations to inform future campaigns and product positioning.

About You

  • 2–4+ years of experience in business development, strategy, consulting, or B2B sales.
  • Strong presentation-building skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva) with an eye for visual storytelling.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in corporate environments.
  • Comfortable engaging with partners, prospects, and consumers in a variety of settings.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bonus: Experience in startups
