The B2B Channel and Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing both channel partner operations and direct B2B sales operations in Singapore and Malaysia. This role involves coordinating with various internal teams to ensure orders—whether submitted directly by customers or through channel partners—are dispatched and delivered in a timely, efficient manner. Additionally, the role requires driving day-to-day partner engagements to help channel partners sell effectively and meet their targets. This position is customer- and partner-facing, and the ideal candidate will excel at managing relationships, solving problems, and ensuring operational excellence in a remote work setting.
Channel Partner Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners in Malaysia and Singapore.
- Provide regular support, training, and resources to enable partners to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor partner performance, offering feedback and strategies for continuous improvement.
B2B Sales Operations
- Oversee the end-to-end sales process for direct B2B customers, ensuring accurate order capture and timely fulfilment.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Logistics, Inventory, Customer Service) to dispatch and deliver orders promptly.
- Track order status, proactively address potential delays, and communicate updates to customers and channel partners.
- Ensure CRM data hygiene is intact and continually updated
Customer & Partner Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both direct customers and channel partners, addressing inquiries and resolving sales orders swiftly.
- Manage expectations by providing clear timelines, setting realistic milestones, and maintaining transparency throughout the order lifecycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce bottlenecks.
- Identify areas for improvement in sales operations and partner management, recommending and implementing best practices to support scalability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in channel partner management, B2B sales operations, or a similar role.
- Proven track record in driving partner engagement, meeting sales targets, and managing complex operational processes.
- Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Sales & Operations Acumen: Solid understanding of B2B sales cycles, partner ecosystems, and order fulfilment best practices.
- Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills for building trust with customers and partners.
- Project Coordination: Strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple priorities and ensure timely execution.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working remotely, handling ambiguity, and crafting processes from scratch in a growing organization.
- Problem-Solving: Creative thinker who can quickly identify issues and propose effective solutions.
