Your Purpose

We are seeking a highly driven and pragmatic Product Manager to take full ownership of our Savings and Staking products, including Bitso+ (crypto savings accounts) and staking.

This role is central to our strategy to make crypto useful by providing our users with accessible, high-performing financial opportunities. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a suite of products that allow millions of users across Latin America (Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia) to earn passive income on their digital assets. You will be a key member of the Yield squad, collaborating closely with engineering, design, legal, and data science to innovate, launch, and continuously optimize our yield-generating offerings. Your success will be measured by user adoption, total assets earning yield, and overall product profitability.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on fintech, investment products, savings accounts, wealth management, or crypto yield products (e.g., staking, interest accounts).
• Deep understanding of how various crypto yield mechanisms work, including but not limited to interest-bearing accounts and staking.
• Demonstrated experience operating in a data-intensive environment. You should be comfortable extracting insights from complex datasets and using them to drive product decisions, particularly around profitability, risk management, and user engagement.
• Proven ability to ship products rapidly and iteratively. Experience with A/B testing and creative, low-cost validation methods is a huge plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying problems, breaking them down, and finding practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You'll be working with a diverse group of internal teams, including Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Design.
• A proactive and ownership-driven mindset. You thrive in environments where you can identify opportunities, build a vision, and execute to see it through.
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
• Experience in regulatory environments for financial/investment products or managing product features related to risk, custody, and treasury operations is a significant plus.

What You Will Do

• Own the Yield Products Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and execute the end-to-end product roadmap for Bitso's portfolio of yield-generating products (Bitso+ and Staking), ensuring alignment with Bitso’s overall mission and financial goals.
• Drive User Adoption and Assets: Design and optimize features that simplify the user experience, encouraging users to deposit funds, allocate assets to high-yield accounts (Bitso+), and participate in staking opportunities.
• Innovate Yield Offerings: Research and define new, compliant, and market-competitive savings and staking products, balancing user demand, profitability, and risk/custody requirements. This includes evaluating new assets for staking.
• Manage Product Risk and Compliance: Work closely with Legal, Treasury, and Compliance teams to ensure all yield products are compliant with regulations across operating markets and that product designs account for financial, security, and custody risk.
• Optimize Product Profitability: Utilize deep data analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like total value locked (TVL), net revenue margin, and customer churn, identifying and executing opportunities for pricing and operational optimization.
• Enhance Product Transparency: Champion clear, accurate, and transparent communication of APY, risk disclosures, and terms to customers within the product experience.
• Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner seamlessly with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Treasury, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective strategy for delivering a safe, reliable, and high-performing yield product suite.
• Bias to Action & Iterate Rapidly: Embrace a fast-paced environment, making informed decisions with incomplete information and prioritizing shipping small, impactful changes quickly to test in the market and iterate.
