Your Purpose
The candidate will be part of the Finance organization and will manage the financial aspects for Bitso’s Trading Desk, who engage in various initiatives such as investments, OTC trading and market making. The candidate is expected to have a good understanding of accounting and financial investments.

Who You Are
- Proven English fluency.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field
- Master’s degree in Finance or participation in the CFA program is strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of accounting experience
- At least 4 years of exposure to financial markets at a trading firm, hedge fund, brokerage, or fintech environment
What You Will Do
The role responsibilities are divided into two main categories:
- Financial Accounting
- Assist with the preparation of the Trading Desk’s financial statements (Balance Sheet and Income Statement)
- Coordinate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support for the audit of financial statements.
- P&L and Risk Control
- P&L Reporting & Analysis: Direct the P&L control function for the trading desk, providing insightful weekly and monthly performance reporting and analysis to key stakeholders.
- Risk Management Framework: Develop, implement, and oversee the risk management framework that governs all trading activities.
- Strategic Oversight & Relationships: Provide high-level financial analysis of trading flows and manage strategic relationships with trading venues, brokers, and key financial partners
