Your Purpose
As an IT Specialist focused on Asset Management, your primary goal is to help the organization optimize asset utilization while ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining compliance, and supporting procurement and disposal processes. Also, you will provide vital information for strategic decision-making regarding IT resources.
To achieve this, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our IT Asset Management process. You will work side by side with external vendors, multiple internal teams while using cutting-edge technologies to achieve Bitso’s objectives.
Also, you will provide some support-related assistance, but your core responsibilities will center on asset management, its policy enforcement, monitoring, and ensuring ongoing audit readiness.

Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management / IT asset lifecycle process, inventory control, or related roles, preferably using inventory tools such as Asset Sonar, Apple Business Manager, or similar.
Knowledge of licensing and procurement processes.
1+ years of experience in Endpoint Management.
Competent in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Strong expertise in macOS and Windows configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with IT Service Desk platforms (e.g., Jira) and remote desktop support.
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and skills to create and update technical documentation.
Highly organized, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy. Process-oriented mind.
Adept at handling urgent and high-pressure requests, maintaining open, concise communication.
Nice to Have
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Perl, with a strong automation mindset.
- Experience working with Identity Providers (e.g., Okta).
- Google Workspace Administration experience.
- Slack Administration.
- O365 / MS VDIs / Azure administration experience.
- Airlock Administration experience.
What You Will Do
- Own and oversee the proper execution of the IT Asset Management Process.
- Purchase IT Assets (laptops, desktops, peripherals, software licenses, etc.).
- Lead Hardware refresh processes.
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Assign assets to employees and maintain records of ownership.
- Monitor asset health and schedule repairs or upgrades as needed.
- Retrieve assets when employees are offboard.
- Sanitize and repurpose devices when possible.
- Ensure proper disposal or recycling of obsolete equipment per compliance guidelines.
- Maintain an up-to-date asset database with details like serial numbers, models, purchase dates, and assigned users.
- Work on Asset Management and related tech support (70% - 30% time ratio).
