The Role

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through the development and execution of test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. This role requires a strong understanding of software development life cycles and QA methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery and prioritisation of defects.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in the review of requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

So, what are we looking for

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Experience with API testing (using tools such as Postman) and UI testing
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
