Axis is looking for a Senior People Partner to support business growth by owning key People & Culture initiatives across Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, and Performance Management.

About the Role

Partner with department heads and managers to understand people needs, team challenges, and workforce priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support talent acquisition activities across assigned departments.
  • Build strong hiring pipelines and improve recruitment fulfillment, time to hire, and candidate experience.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, including LinkedIn content, internal stories, referral campaigns, and career page updates.
  • Design and coordinate learning and development initiatives based on business and employee needs.
  • Support training plans, training evaluation, individual development plans, and capability-building programs.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, pulse surveys, feedback sessions, and action plans.
  • Support performance management cycles, goal setting, performance reviews, and manager guidance.
  • Coach managers on employee relations, feedback, development conversations, and people decisions.
  • Use people data and insights to recommend practical solutions that improve team performance and employee experience.
  • Ensure people practices are aligned with Axis values, culture, and business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, or People Operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of recruitment, employer branding, engagement, and performance management.
  • Ability to partner with leaders and managers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple people initiatives at the same time.
  • Comfortable using HR data, dashboards, surveys, and reports to support decisions.
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
  • Strong interest in building a positive employee experience and high-performance culture.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in fintech, startups, technology companies, or fast-growing environments.
  • Experience using ATS, HR systems, Google Workspace, and people analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting employer branding campaigns and internal communication.
  • Exposure to career development frameworks, IDPs, talent reviews, or OKRs.
