A fully interoperable mobile wallet which enables users to send and receive money from any mobile wallet in Egypt, pay their bills, buy anything online with a virtual Visa card, or scan any QR code to pay for anything in-person. About the Role
In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of consumer growth and retention initiatives across the wallet experience. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive user acquisition, engagement, activation, and long-term retention through data-driven and user-centric product experiences.
Responsibilities
- Defining and driving the consumer growth and retention strategy across onboarding, engagement, payments, rewards, and lifecycle experiences
- Leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience to deliver scalable consumer experiences
- Driving product discovery, experimentation, and behavioral analysis to improve activation, engagement, and retention metrics
- Owning key business metrics related to user growth, transaction frequency, retention, engagement, and customer lifetime value
- Identifying opportunities to improve user journeys, reduce friction, and increase product adoption across the wallet ecosystem
- Leading personalization, segmentation, and lifecycle initiatives to drive deeper customer engagement and loyalty
- Monitoring market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics within fintech and consumer digital products
Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience, with significant exposure to consumer fintech or B2C digital products
- Proven experience leading growth, engagement, or retention initiatives at scale
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, growth loops, lifecycle management, and data-driven product development
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and highly dynamic environments
- Strong product discovery and experimentation capabilities
Required Skills
- Experience in emerging markets or underbanked financial ecosystems
- Familiarity with digital wallets, payments, rewards, or loyalty ecosystems
- Strong understanding of behavioral economics and consumer engagement strategies
- Experience working closely with CRM, lifecycle marketing, or growth analytics teams
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields is a plus
