A fully interoperable mobile wallet which enables users to send and receive money from any mobile wallet in Egypt, pay their bills, buy anything online with a virtual Visa card, or scan any QR code to pay for anything in-person.Axis empowers small businesses with simplified digital payments to compete & grow. Our digital banking platform enables small businesses to seamlessly manage payments to employees and suppliers. Small businesses can now send salaries, reimbursements and instantly pay their suppliers on any mobile wallet in Egypt.

What you’ll be doing
  • Build a community of brand advocates by coming up with creative & unique content ideas
  • Create engaging social media content & videos in order to establish Axis as a thought leader in the financial space among a young, digital savvy Gen Z audience
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy, social media content plan & calendar,working cross-functionally with graphic designers, copywriters, videographers, and freelancers/agencies
  • Understand potential consumer segments that we should target, & test online strategies, messaging, and campaigns to build awareness & trust and acquire new customers
  • Work with the wider growth function on campaigns, such as new product launches, new segment launches etc. in partnership with performance marketing manager
  • Partner with key influencers to establish trust and drive awareness and engagement with Axis’ content
  • Create incentives & promotions to drive customer engagement & retention via social media, in-app notifications, and email
  • Build email flows & journeys for different customer types to grow engagement and retention (i.e, new customers, active customers, inactive customers, churned customers)
  • Work on marketing brand partnerships (i.e. with Starbucks) across different channels to drive transactions and revenue growth
  • Be the voice of the customer internally, feeding back to the product teams to share product suggestions and concerns raised by the community
  • Create clear measurement systems to demonstrate the impact of your work and your contribution towards wider growth goals
Requirements
  • Willingness to understand motivations, behaviors, media consumption of potential target segments in order to come up with strategies to acquire & retain them
  • Demonstrated track record of working with cross-functional teams to create engaging content for social media
  • Hyper creative in your approach to campaigns and copy
  • Solid background in managing social media channels and associated tools
  • Ability to work with CRM platform on email and push notifications to drive engagement and retention
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Good knowledge of the competitive space and willingness to learn more
