🙌 Your Mission
Your mission is to streamline our onboarding operations by owning contract management processes that reduce legal bottlenecks, standardize contracts and support efficient growth.
🎯 Your Responsibilities in this Role
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements including vendor, customer, and partnership contracts.
- Maintain organized, compliant records and tracking systems across all contract workflows.
- Liaise with internal teams to collect relevant inputs and manage contract lifecycle tasks.
- Identify and escalate legal risks appropriately, supporting the legal team with high-quality insights.
- Improve the operational efficiency of contract processes as Rafiki scales.
🔥 Must-have requirements
- Qualified legal professional with 2+ years’ experience in contract management or legal roles.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial risk.
- Skilled at identifying when to escalate issues to senior legal counsel.
- Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Experience using contract management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
💪 Nice to have requirements
- Prior in-house legal or fintech experience.
- Experience supporting scaling B2B infrastructure or SaaS platforms.

3-Month Metrics
- Drafting and maintaining onboarding contracts with minimal legal intervention.
- Clear escalation and risk management flow documented and approved by legal.
6-Month Metrics
- Fully embedded contract workflow within onboarding team, reducing legal dependency.
- Accurate, compliant contract database of active Rafiki partnerships.
